This company  is owned by a Holding in Denmark, who in turn is owned by a number of European travel insurance companies, here under Europäische Reiseversicherung. This company is a medical assistance office and services European travelers with certain travel insurances, who travel on the African continent or live in Africa as expatriates. The services include advice on medical providers in any country in Africa, medical assistance in form of payment guarantees with medical providers in Africa, organization of medical evacuation etc. They also handle reimbursement of invoices to policy holders and payment of invoices to medical providers in Africa. The Cape Town office consists of an international team of three claims handlers (Danish, French, and Finish), one Dutch book keeper and the Danish general manager. Most of them also speak German.

Duties
- This company are increasingly busy and need an intern to assist the claims handlers and the general manager on certain tasks.
- The intern will be taught how to register and handle charter tourism cases from Kenya, Gambia, Tunisia, Morocco and South Africa and will have these cases as his/her own responsibility.
- Provision of research on medical providers in Africa via telephone, email and internet.
 -Writing welcome letters to new, Scandinavian expatriates arriving in Africa.
 -Assist the claims handlers on active medical cases when they are busy.
- This company offers an Intern a young, international atmosphere working for a subsidiary of a major German company in a modern office complex on the Foreshore with an amazing view over the city from their office with free parking in a parking house on the Foreshore. Office hours are from 9am to 5pm. 30 minutes for lunch.
